It's a pain and a pleasure.
It's a pain and a pleasure. I love to teach when students are ready to learn, and especially if there is a kind of co-learning going on. To be honest I've also taught classes that made me feel very disillusioned. Teaching is an act of hope. I was not a perfect student myself, and yet I do remember teachers who made a difference to me. It's a hard job and you need some faith and hope to keep going.
