Witty wise woman wants interesting, stimulating ,warm, gentle conversations with other people.I used to be pretty, but my looks are changing to reflect my age and authenticity and my inability to find strong enough spackle to cover my few but determined wrinkles. My adult appearance masks my actual age, which ranges from 5when I am tired or sick, to about 30when I have to be mature and adult-like. I am comfy and happy with my job and my life, but my only child has left the nest, my husband is no longer interested in me (I can't compete with all his techno toys), and I find myself looking for kindred spirits, male or female, to talk to. I am about ten years away from retirement, and I have won teaching awards at various points in my career, but mostly I am a bit of a square peg. I trust very few adults and find them boring or false.I enjoy ten year olds best. I am not political or sports minded, but I read extensively on many subjects. I love playing games and enjoy multiage family groupings, outings etc. I have 3cats and two dogs. I love walking, dining, musicals, watching dance,tv, garage sailing, geocaching, Disney vacations, cruising, beach trips , driving holidays, church events in moderation,taking classes, seeing movies, finding treasures to beautify my home, sewing home decor stuff, doing charity work, especially around Christmas time.I don't like testing or cell phones. I enjoy my computer toys. But I am not obsessed.favorite places include Las Vegas for the shows and atmosphere,Disney anything, Rome, Venice, Caribbean, Hawaii ,Yellowstone,Banff, Oregon, San Francisco etc. I love to travel! Ilove music of most kinds, I don't enjoy rap at all.Pet peeves include smokers, whiners, mean people, people who don't enjoy kids,clean freaks, antisocial people, and anyone who hasn't figured out that family or friend relationships count more than things.
