I'm a high school science teacher teaching AP Bio, AP Env. Sci., Physics and Oceanography. I also coach our Ocean Bowl, Science Quiz Bowl, and Science Olypiad teams. It keeps me busy. I love the challenges that this level presents and I love my job!
I'm originally from PA and have lived in NC for the past 27 years. I came from a small town, moved to a small town and that's where I'll always want to be.
I'm an outdoors kind of guy. I fish, hunt and trap. I keep a boat in the Pamlico River and use it every chance I get.
I love to be creative and build things. I work a lot with the kids on designing and building Science Olympiad projects and I've done a lot of remodeling, building furniture, taxidermy, etc. I also like to cook and I'm not bad at it!
I'd like to meet someone (female please) that's cute, spunky, intelligent, active, adventurous, and willing to try new things because that's part of my passion. We only learn to do new things by trying and that's what I've spent my life doing.
I really appreciate the quiet things in life. I prefer people to be real, open, honest, etc. I don't like a lot of flash and glamour, keep it simple please. Mousy is my type I've said (and been criticized for using the word)but I find it the most honest type of beauty. I don't want to date make-up, a real person will do.
I have been divorced for 10 years and have one son that's 19.
Education is a lifestyle, not just a career and I think I would like to try "dating" someone in my own field. If you're interested just let me know but I'd only appreciate serious inquiries.
