I am a retired Community Collge 25 year educator For me, my career as a community college teacher was one of the greatest gifts of my life after a terrible childhood. I loved teaching (Psychology and in Human Services curricula) -- learned more form my students and colleagues than I taught, loved the community college student -earthy and experienced in life, loved my boss, loved the time off to travel and renew, and finally I found mysef becoming the community college helper that my students needed me to be, not the one my ego told me to be!
