I love sci-fi and fantasy (books and movies). I am a person who believes the universe brings back to us whatever we put out there. Kind of karma-ish, but, kind of like wish fulfillment, too. I "try" to do what I know to be the right thing, for the right reason. Not always as successfull with that as I would like to be. LOL. I participate in an earth based religion. I am a life-long learner. History fascinates me. I write some poetry from time to time and am working on a novel.

What am I looking for in a partner?

I am looking for someone to share interests with. Someone who can chat about the same things, or, also be happy curled up both reading books and quiet for long stretches of time. What are you looking for in a partner?
must be a non smoker, sorry, but this is a deal breaker
must get geeked by sci-fi, or fantasy or comics, etc.
should be seeking a partner as his equal
likes to have pets, especially dogs and cats
must be open minded about religion
be able to make me laugh a lot
someone who can give love, and live love

I'd just like to add...
I love to read. My favorite genres are sci-fi (especially time travel) and mysteries. I enjoy going to art museums, the symphony, and the movies. I like to cook and try out new recipes. I have been known to attend a sci-fi convention or two (or more...) but Im not exactly all Galaxy Quest about it. As a dedicated Anglophile I love my tea, my HP sauce, and fresh made scones with clotted cream. When you can tear me away from watching SCI-FI channel or BBCAmerica then it will be to watch one of the Discovery or History channels. I like ambient music (Air, Sigur Ross) new wave 80s music (Plimsouls, Ramones, Cars) and classical music ( Stavinsky, Wagner, Moussorgsky) and of course, my first musical love, The Beatles.
