Hi there!
My name is Mel, and I am finishing my degree in music education at the end of this school year (will be graduating 2009.. yesssssss!). I also tutor at a local school in piano/music skills. I am the music director for a local church, and I perform around the area at weddings and funerals.( I sing.. Mezzo)

I love to laugh, so please have a sense of humor. I love learning, especilly weird, out-there, random facts. It makes life more interesting, don't you think?

I have been working out to get back into shape after the doctors FINALLY diagnosed me with metabolic syndrome... very annyoing...and frustrating, but now it is being addressed, so hurrah! No more.. but I am trying and its not working!!!

I don't eat red meat, and I try to buy organic/natural/ cage free products. I can probably cook as well as/ better than your mother. People look forward to my cooking.

I drive a stick shift and love to build things. My most recent adventure into woodworking was a cow mailbox (complete with udders) for my mother on mother's day. I've also built a 1/2 scale t-bird with working doors and wheels for the community players production of grease.

I love to paint and draw, and I would love to complete a children's book some day.

My favourite tv shows are MXC, Family guy and Monty Python's Flying Circus. I also watch "Mock the week" when I have access to BBC and I LOVE MYTHBUSTERS. (enter love of random facts.)
