I do love what American teachers are: very approachable, funny, and knowledgeable. I believe they look this way in Canada as well. I am a teacher who was born in Ukraine, lived in Belarus and America, and now is planning to move to Canada. I have California credentials in Music, Russian, English, and Early Childhood. But teachers are in a very hard situation in my new motherland nowadays, as you might know. I keep studying. I will try to move to Vancouver area in a year, after I finish a graduate school, and start working there and waiting for an immigration visa.
I am having a daughter, who is a professional musician and will come to Canada with MA in guitar performance and teaching.
Actually, we both are more interested in teaching music than languages (she can teach English, as she's finished 4.5 years of Linguistic University), but we are realistic and are welcoming friendly advice from both men and women. If you need somethng in California, we'll be happy to help you.
