40 Years and Still Love This Job!
40 Years and Still Love This Job! Life seems to have its own path in spite of my well laid plans. I'd set a course to work until I was 62 but I retired early to care for my husband who developed Lewy Body Dementia. Following my husband's death three years ago, my school district asked if I would return to my position in ELA staff development. Working with the teachers in my district has brought me back to life.
Once upon a time, I loved to dance but I haven't moved across a dance floor for years. I want to return.
I have not traveled to Europe but my passport is waiting to be stamped. Most of my travels have been solo but I would one day like to explore the world with a like-minded curious traveler.
While I hope to meet a widower who shares that deeper understanding of loss, I won't assume shared heartache trumps all else.
