I am a teacher who works really hard in term time but likes to take full advantage of the holidays and travel to exotic places, especially at Easter and in the Summer. My favourite destination is Kenya; I have visited seven times now and love going on tailor made safaris, meeting the people, being wowed by the amazing landscape and animals and then relaxing and scuba diving off the fabulous beaches!

I am a great animal lover; I have a horse called Charlie Brown and a blind cat called Sam.

I'm thoughtful, kind and very caring and would do anything to help out those I care for. I don't have children, though I would have liked to. I love watching football, particularly QPR whom I've supported since I was about 7, (my two great but impossible ambitions were to play for QPR Ladies and ride at Wembley) but also to see Saints play (and possibly win). I also like going to Twickenham to watch England play.

I am well organised and resourceful; I can be independent and am happy spending time on my own, but would love to find a new partner with whom I could share a wonderful and exciting life!

My ideal partner would naturally be keen on the outdoors, adventurous and like to travel. He would need to be sensitive and fun but have a serious side too. I would confess to being a little shallow and say that ideally he would be good-looking! If he could tolerate my favourite films (Dirty Dancing, of course, Shirley Valentine, Notting Hill etc) that would be even better!

I have a lot of love to give, so am looking forward to the prospect of starting a new relationship with someone really special.
